Name: Pumpkin Patch

Age: Think around young adult/College student age

Height: A little taller than Zecora

Breed: Zebra/Bat Mix

Special Talent: Botany, especially types of Squash and Gourd

Likes: Pumpkin flavoured foods, Night time, Botany, having fun, Coffee, Perfect right angles

Dislikes: Nightmare Night, people stereotyping him, People automatically thinking that he enjoys Nightmare Night just because of how he looks, candy.

Bio: Pumpkin is a joyous, usually happy-go-lucky pony who absolutely loves botany. He can be a bit worn down at times, usually during Finals week, where he just kinda mutters a bit before going back to his dorm to study and sleep. Other than this, he tries to usually not get on peoples nerves or confront them. But the second someone calls him anything racist, he goes of in them. He's passionate about the fact that he can be just as smart as any other pony. He believes that he's worked harder than all of those purebred unicorns to get where he is and he wont let anyone else bring him down. He's trying to work on not getting offended so easily but it's an uphill battle.

History: Pumpkin born to a zebra father and a bat pony mother but his mom ended up leaving their family. His father usually doesn't like to take about her but she pretty much lost interest in the Zebra and just went into the Everfree forest just to never come back. His father was a farmer who specialized in gourds of all kinds. Pumpkin Patch had helped his father out on the farm everyday until he was old enough to go to school. He was kinda bullied for a bit but he never really had the time to let it get to him between his schoolwork and his farmwork. He did begin to realize that even the teachers discounted him due to his race. This enraged him and he began working even harder. That being said, he and his father weren't too financially sound. They were on the verge of loosing their farm when the country fair came along. There was a biggest pumpkin competition with the first prize being 1,000 bits and Pumpkin Patch took the chance to save the farm! He studied hard in how to make a pumpkin grow larger. He then discovered a way of making fertilizer that increased the growth of various gourds and squash. He tried it out and after a bit of trial and error, he got it! They entered the pumpkin and it got the blue ribbon at the festival. He got his cutiemark and continued in the field of botany ever since. He's now in college in Canterlot, being known as the first bat-zebra pony hybrid to get into Hoofvard.

FUN FACTS:
- Pumpkin Patch is very offended by ponies dressing up as bat ponies during Nightmare Night because he doesn't think all bat ponies are evil and scary.

- He used to actually really like Nightmare Night but after being asked one too many times what kind of makeup he uses for his markings, he's gone sick of it all.

- His favorite flavor of Coffee is Pumpkin Spice, no regrets.
