Here is my first version of my Drawing Pad. Draw freely.P - Prints what you have
N - new page
Next Version (when i find time)
-Line tool - to make lines
-Circle tool - to make cirlces
- Fill tool - to fill shapes...gonna be tricky

Just out of interest, does the eraser actually erase things, or does it just cover things the same as the background colour? If it physically removes the lines, please can you give me the ActionScript for the eraser? (I could do with it for a game I'm working on). Thanks

Currently i do not believe there is such a script to actually erase a line.
The only ways to do such a thing that i can think of would be:
1) Draw over it with the bg line (like i think i did in this)
2) Draw to a dynamic mask which covers the drawn lines.
I dont think u can erase actual lines and such cuz the fact that they are vectors would make it mathematically intense to manually rease sections between points. Thanks for the comment and the fav. Hopefully this helps and i cant wait to see your game!

Hey, this is pretty good, the UI is really nice, I like the colour selection palette a lot.
Are you still working on making a fill function, because if you are, it's not hard using flash 8. If you have flash 8, you can flatten the vectors to a bitmap, then fill is relatively easy, as there is a method to do it.
floodFill (BitmapData.floodFill method)
public floodFill(x:Number, y:Number, color:Number) : Void
Performs a flood fill operation on an image starting at an (x, y) coordinate and filling with a certain color. The floodFill() method is similar to the paint bucket tool in various painting programs. The color is an ARGB color that contains alpha information and color information.
Hope that helps, it only exists in flash 8, and you have to make a bitmap object, and draw all of your vectors to it.
