Description First pic of the New Year!

Actually, I meant to have this pic posted BEFORE New Years! But as always I can't seem to post any pictures on their actual holidays.

Anyways, Shonnie and Koda decided to combine their musical talents and form a band to celebrate the new year in rocking style. Shonnie even decided to semi-revive his old "Kamen Crooner" persona with the new band under the name "Kamen Jammers". It was a little difficult to settle on a song that fits both the pic and the new year. So, I thought I'd go with this smooth sounds from one of my favorite bands. Check it out!

Hope you all enjoy the pic and have a Happy New Year! Β

We don't get too many heroes that have musical backgrounds, so I thought this was a nice change up pace. Β

Sweet! Congratulations!

How is that game? Are the girls cute? Is the leveling process easier or harder than the first one?

The game is great and to get the most out of it story-wise I highly recommend that you play and beat the first game. The girls are absolutely cute, ranging from adorable to outright sexy. Leveling up is actually really easy in this game; you get experience from battling and completing quests but you also seem to get bonus EXP that builds up over time that you can use to further level up when you decide to rest at an inn. And money is also very easy to come by as well so you never really have to worry about going broke.

Nintendo really started the Switch off in a big way by giving us three massive, open-world games within the first year

I could try, but my WII U has seen some better days.

Also I've had such a rough time trying to level-up in the first game. Is there a certain level farming system I'm overlooking?

It's actually super easy to level up in the first Xenoblade Chronicles. You can get all the experience you could ever need just by doing all of the side quests you find. The only time you need to grind levels by defeating enemies is if you want to take on some of the final Alcomoth and Colony 6 quests.

So you don't even have to engage the wildlife if you don't have to? Β

Nope, absolutely not. The only time you'll have to fight enemies are during story events, when a side quest requires you to fight certain enemies or when you need to get a certain item off of an enemy that you can't trade with named NPC for.

Xenoblade Chronicles X on the other hand...it's just VERY hard to level up in that game due to your party members not all sharing the EXP you gain and all of the enemies just being VERY high in level compared to what you are; that's why I never finished that game.

Β

Aww, dude... Xenoblade Chronicles X was what I was actually refering to... It's difficult to explore the terrain and complete missions when virtually everything is stronger than you. The best I could do is attack innocent sheep-like creatures or bat/mosquito enemies, which give littleΒ  EXP or try my best to maneuver around creatures until I can get to locations...Β

That's why I prefer Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and 2. And to make matters worse, the level cap on Xenoblade Chronicles X is 60 while monsters can go as high as 99 and the story ends on an unsatisfying cliffhanger that remains to be answered properly.

Do the mechs even compensate for the power gap?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

eshonen In reply to Flashshadow [2018-01-03 04:14:52 +0000 UTC]

Sort of, but you've got to make sure that you have the high level mechs along with the proper upgrades for whatever party member you want to bring with you.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is a good game but there are just too many things holding me back from loving it like I do Xenoblade 1 and 2. It was designed with a Multi-player focus and a lot of the features are now gone with stuff shutting down on the Wii U.
