Not cliche at all. A lonely tree being struck by lighting in an empty field with a cheesy title would be cliche - but not this
I like the perspective - as others have pointed out the tones and depth of field are very nice. Even though this is black and white and a shot of a desolate buliding there is some warmth to the piece - it's a great quality. Did you get any shots of the inside?
