Interesting idea and texture mate, maybe it lacks a bit of impact in terms of composition. I would have played a little bit more with the diagonals. But that's my point of view...

Got it when I went down in Houston at this huge camera store (like the LL Lozeau of Texas).
Went back the following day to get another one but was already sold out and they will not get it again til early summer.
It's one sexy lens

It's awfully suggestive when at 200mm too! I got to play with a pre-production model in November, they slimmed the actual size of the lens down since I first got to use it. The perks of working for a Nikon company indeed...
How do you find the VR? I imagine it gives you, what, two stops at most?

P.S. What lens are you using on the d70s?
I have the kit lens and a sigma 28-105.
I am thinking of picking up one prime (50mm maybe) and a fast 100-200mm zoom.

I use the Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED is amazing, if you can get it.
It is a wide angle and zoom lens combined with vibration reduction system.
I got an old nikkor 50mm prime but only use it for the F80, it is a must have!
