Personality: Quiet and soft spoken, Ona used to have his older brother Lewa talk for him when they were kids. It also means Ona tends to be talked over by others as he doesn't really raise his voice unless upset. Ona is very much a gentle giant. He is polite and respectful of others and tries his best to avoid contention. He would rather talk his way out of situations than fight. But he can if he has to defend himself. He has a respect for all living creatures and nature. He tends to make friends and connect with feral animals more easily than actual people. He is not shy though, he will try to make friends where he can. He is naive in social interactions but very well learned in the study of magic, nature, survival, and world history. Ona is the type to think before he acts but this also can leave him to over analyze and become indecisive.

History: Ona is the second son of the leaders of his dragon clan. His clan was made up of the warrior type green dragons and the more nature and magic in tune black dragons. His parents were married to combine the two clans and for the black dragons to gain protection from their enemies. Ona spent his young childhood with his older clutch mate Lewa. Where they were both trained in the ways of the warrior but because Ona was small in stature for a dragon and too kind hearted their father saw it best that Ona study under his mother instead. Ona then was taught about how to connect and talk to feral animals, tracking skills, and medicine crafting. His mother tried to teach him magic but Ona had not inherited the black dragons gift for it.

One day their clan was attacked in a raid by those who feared dragons and only saw them as a threat. Ona fled with his mother but they were separated. Ona tried to track down his clan but lost their trail after a few weeks of searching. He spent the next few years of his life still searching for his family and living secluded in the mountains afraid to interact with others in case they feared him. It was during this time he ran into what he thought was a 'great spirit of the forest' it granted him the magic powers he lacked or so he thought. The magic he gained was a dark kind and he rarely uses it but it has given him the ability to talk telepathically to those around him. He later then made friends with his owl Frightful. He found her injured and caught in a poachers trap. He freed and nursed her back to health. With his gift to talk to feral animals they became quick friends. Frightful is very protective of Ona and treats him as if he was her child.

Frightful has been bonded to Ona as his familiar.
