"I'm gonna blaze on through with my Fire-type Pokémon! We'll do our Rubesty!"Here is the fifth of the 9 girls of Aqours as Pokémon Trainers, my Mobian version of Ruby Kurosawa! She specializes in Fire-type Pokémon due to her red hair (also because of the obvious Pokémon Ruby pun), and to counter Hanayo's Grass-type Pokémon. Ironically, Ruby has a shy personality, one not befitting for one who uses Fire-types. She is the younger sister of Dia Kurosawa. Although Ruby is a Fire-type specialist, her Octillery is not Fire-type. It is, however, one of the few Water-type Pokémon that can use Fire-type moves. It's a rule I made that all members of Aqours must have at least one Water-type Pokémon, regardless of their type specialty. Ruby's Pokémon team consists of:
- ♀Flareon: Flare Blitz, Will-O-Wisp, Quick Attack, Wish; Flash Fire, Leftovers. Nature: Impish
- ♂Magcargo: Shell Smash, Flamethrower, Earth Power, Stone Edge; Flame Body, White Herb. Nature: Serious
- ♀Octillery: Scald, Flamethrower, Mud Shot, Energy Ball; Sniper, Razor Claw. Nature: Modest
Fun fact: Ruby's English VA, Sarah Wiedenheft, also voiced Zeno in Dragon Ball Super, and Tohru in Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid.
