Description
This is a photo of a friends dog. He is call Obi.I think he looks more like a Chewbacca to me.
Its done in Adobe Illustrator CS2. It took 2 hours to do.
Its just a bit of fun.
Trying to get motivated into drawing more at the minute.
As well as working on some new styles if I can.
But I am un-employed at the minute and all the jobs I want are not coming my way.
At this rate I will have to take a crap cleaning job or something to get money coming in.

i'd try, but i'm no good with fur, and even human hair confounds me sometimes. no worries, just a thought. i love your work.
and i totally understand about the job thing. i'm in the same boat. i just end up sitting in starbucks (where my husband works) and vectoring all day long. not too bad, except we're poor.

I hope to be working soon. Job interview on Wednesday.
Plus I have just this minute found someone local that does direct to garment printing. So I am going to make some money in the mean time doing t-shirts and hooded sweat shirts prints of some of my vector illustrations.

the only thing that bother me is the slightly blur bottom section, this is tottaly imho

The original photo was focused on the face, and the bottom bits was out of focus. My friend is a photographer, so she experimenting at the minute.

if ya want a job, why not put your art work in a cafepress.com shop? they cave have free shops and it doesn't cost you anything..and you can make some $$ off your artwork. My shop doesn't pay the mortgage, but it helps out alot.

You can use them for a presentation, but long as your not making any money out of it.
Also I won't be giving out larger copies of my work.

She was going to call it Chewy, but she thought people could think its named after chewy gum or something. So Obi was chosen. She Likes star wars too.
