Its taken 7 hours to do this!I am now off to remove my eyes, and dip them in optrex for a couple of hours.
The idea came from a image I saw on deviant art, but I can not find it currently.

i love this - i have read through all your comments, too - your work really piqued my interest - i am new at vector/vexel work - i only have photoshop atm - anyway, i noticed the symmetry and i think that is one of the things that makes it so good - i'm glad you mirrored it

This is pretty awesome! From the thumbnail it just looks like a b&w line drawing overlaid on a texture. I wasn't expecting the intricate designs. Nice work. This picture looks a lot like me. My goatee is different and my glasses are different, but my old glasses were framed almost the same. Cheers to great art.

I use a Wacom Tablet and the pencil tool. Draw one side of the face and then mirror it.
