Description
This was originally a personal commission for a regular customer of mine. His request was to depict Memory and Thought - Huginn and Muninn - a pair of ravens from Norse mythology that bring information to the god Odin.
This has gone through a lot of revisions since then. This is the second full version as I really like having the blue tones. It was initially orange, but I think I've had enough of orange in my gallery right now!

My first thought watching the thumbnail was "Huginn and Muninn?" and then I read your description. Well captured!

Such vigour, such action!Β It seems they understood a long time ago that the corvids were intelligent and communicative and you have expressed this well.Β I am turning over your choice of colour in my head.Β What does it mean to portray birds that are basically black as more or less golden eagles colours?Β Drama, energy and impact, I suppose, along with some originality.Β It works, somehow.
