I'm really bad at names for these things.There's not much story to this shot - I was playing chess with my flatmate Adam (of Swedish Student), there was smoking, and I thought it would make a cool shot. It was taken under torchlight because I love the yellow light on the wood, and the smoke effect was a lot clearer under a beam.
I lost the game of chess, by the way.

nice focus, but not too sure about the over saturation. You can't really see a lot of the smoke. But it's a very good idea.

oh gosh, i was in a tavern with my cousin once, and he was smoking a pipe. i'd have killed for a camera right then--the lighting was very dim, and when he held the match over the bowl and started lighting it, the flame was pulled down into the bowl, he was puffing the smoke out of his mouth, and there was this eerie, wispy underlighting. and i had no camera.

I HATE it when that happens! The perfect shots that you know you'll never see again - the moon does it to me a lot - when I'm outside at night and the clouds and moon are just perfect, and I'M NOWHERE NEAR A CAMERA! The only worse thing is when you see a brief potential shot and you can't quite get the camera set up to take it in time.
