This is an absolutely stunning piece. The lighting catches the intricate details in the headpiece in a very impactful way.Her makeup makes her alluring, yet she is so deeply turned inward that she appears as more of a statue than flesh and blood. This piece captures an innocence and beauty while at the same time conveying some sort of pain; an internal struggle or distraction. I want to know the story behind those glazed eyes, and that to me says that the artist has accomplished their goal. Alluring, captivating, unique, and somehow beautifully melancholy all at once. Very well done!
