Looks as though they are engaged in a dance as much as a rescue. The fire is behind them , behind the window but the fireman is searching ahead of the smoke. He is alarmed yet willing to carry the dressed up beauty away from the "flames." Excellent transition from the flames from behind into the smoke of the unknown. I was originally drawn here by the pose. She has a luscious throat!
Great continuity of the jeweled pinkesh dress with the smoke. Though not realistic, I like the way you chose to show the fireman without breathing apparatus. Clearing face to see his expression and his look into the unknown
