Well ill help!, First known recording of the slenderman is carved into the pyrimids in egypt and there are meny wood cuts of the creature known as the slenderman. Anduhh..im not good on stories

Ehh... I don't care for what they made him into. He started a fairly terrifying presence... a featureless ghoul drawing children and unaware souls to an unknown fate, a monster worthy of Hitchcock. But then they started to piss into the formula and make it edgy, or what passes for edgy for the tweens and teens and college set nowadays...

Maybe, But that could happen to anything. Almost once something becomes popular; the thing that was so feared and debated about loses its edge. Its kinda like that first good scary movie that comes out, which nobody has ever seen before and really gives you those thrills to watch it. Then the movie becomes popular, someoneΒ has to make a sequel, then someone has to remake the original etc. etc. Sometimes you just can't make something better.
