Well... Tempest Shadow is from the new movie coming out. I just wanted to talk about what I feel makes a good original character, with a good character design. I personally like to have my characters some what realistic, and simplistic. I believe you can have a crazy character design, with wild hair, and odd features, but they must have a great supporting story (or a interesting personality).

I think a lot of video games seem to have really exaggerated and silly looking characters. They do this to characters to stand out from other video games, but something about it seems a little ridiculous to me. When I give my characters visually traits I focus on two things, facial features, and the accessories that pertain to their character. I will admit, realistic can be boring, but also think about when you or someone else has to redraw them. If you have too much detail on a character than it becomes a pain in the ass to draw over and over.

You could have a weird looking character become really good, with a good story. Tempest Shadow to me looks like a badly drawn OC, and who knows if her back story will redeem this character. So far she has all the tromps for a badly done "edge OC" what do you guys think?
