Description At this point I have gone over where I had sawed out the profile to refine the lines and make sure that the profile is symmetrical. If you noticed that the ring blank had one flat side that I used for the face of the ring you can see that I have knocked down the corners to create a tube. Before I start rounding anything off I have to determine where the jawbone is going to be. The human skull is made up of the skull which is roughly spherical, and the jaw bone which is much more square in shape, I must then determine the placement of the jaw and round the skull around it. I did a sketch of where the jaw lives as well as the cheek bone and eye socket, the deep cut above the jaw that I knifed in will act as a marker to let me know not to round that area off.
