Antsy | Selfish | Anxious | Cautious | Gentle | Polite

Antsy- He hates standing still for too long, and just wants to run and exercise his cheetah legs. When having to sit and listen for a while, he'll start shifting on his paws. It'll take a lot for him to keep himself from pacing.

Selfish- He comes first. He will not fight if death is possible. His selfish nature will get him in trouble, usually.

Anxious- Constantly worries about getting injured or getting in trouble. While being the type of cheetah who just wants to run, he also stops and thinks about the worst that could happen. He takes himself and his worries very seriously, even if others won't.

Cautious- He won't go charging into battle, instead he assesses the situation and if it's too risky, he'll flee. His selfish nature keeps him from loyally defending a friend if the combatant is too large or scary looking. Sometimes his cautiousness helps him not get hurt.

Gentle- Despite being selfish and somewhat of a coward, he'll still try to comfort a sad cub. When playing with fellow cubs, he'll be very gentle and try not to hurt them. He usually ends up the one being hurt.

Polite- Duma will also very politely shut someone down. He doesn't want to hurt anybody's feelings. He has manners, even if he's selfish and antsy. He gets this from his time as a pet.

Biography

Born as an only child, Duma was a quiet cub. He never played or pretended to hunt. He usually lounged with his mother or ran with his father. But one day, while exploring a small part of the African savanna, he was captured by man. He was shipped off to Massilia, away from his parents, and ended up living in the city. He lived there for a few moons, forced to live as a pet for one of the humans there. He hated it. He was constantly pampered and prodded at, so one day, when there was a way out, he took it.

Too quick for lurking eyes upon the labyrinth like streets, Duma bolted at the first chance given. His days of being a lousy house cat were over. Past a few trade booths and incoming caravans, the young cheetah slipped out into the vast open wilderness outside the city walls, the weak feeling of freedom slowly overpowering his body.

However, it wasn’t over. Duma made his way even further into the upcoming woods. He’d never been around too many trees in his younger years, and he wasn’t sure how it liked it. Too many spaces for intruders to leap out from- too many barriers keeping him from running free. As days passed of laying low, it had finally come to an end. Wide grasslands for a good while sprinkled his view and before he knew it, Duma was long gone into unknown terrain without a blink of an eye. Somewhere along the line, a patrol lead by a particularly scarred Snow Leopard came into contact with the young feline, a few other souls accompanying him. Outnumbered & fearful of the outcome- Duma surrendered. A smaller caracal mutt told him to scram after getting scent of the city but as excuses flew to cover his presence- a passage way to their camp was finally granted.
