It is refreshing to finally see art from you again, but it is mid October. The only holiday that I feel excitement for at this point in time is November 10th AKA Fallout4liday

So many fans have waited four years for a Fallout sequil and the big thing is that the game was first confirmed to even exist only four months ago before there was nothing. And soon it will be mineΒ (Pre-order FTW)
But I think you have become so popular through your artwork that you can reasonably expect more messages like this. (talking about getting content from you, not about Fallout 4Β )

I can certainly see that you have a lot of fun with art. But I thought more about what you draw first when creating a piece (the eyes? the mouth? You know all that stuff that comes after the simple shapes) By the way could you give me a few tips with drawing eyes?

I start with the base of the head. Getting all guidelines I need to actually see where to put the features.
I recommend not drawing the eyes and mouth for now until you know what you are aiming to draw; when I draw the eyes and mouth I usually get lost in the face because my eyes is directly looking at those features, sooooo... Eyes and Mouth, that'll be the last things I would draw.
Now for eyes, that's something difficult to explain because I had troubles since forever with those until I found my own stylized eyes to draw with ease! There's plenty of eye styles you can draw! But to begin drawing an eye I strongly suggest you planning on where the eyes would be looking. When you got one eye drawn down, try to draw the second one hiding the first eye you drew looking in the same direction of where you planned it to look at!
I don't know if it was too much nonsense but explain eyes is somewhat difficult.
And that's how every artist come across! I honestly think they are weird but some are cool and I'm glad I made it BUT wished I could've done better.

Thank you for responding I am currently living in a wave of art-fever and (since my new Wacom tablet will hopefully arrive tomorrow) I want to get as much information before drawing any creature/character, so thanks.

No problem! Always start slowly. Learn from artist BUT don't steal from them for you own benefit. Just saying this so you keep this in mind for future notice!
The quicker way of learning stuff is by life. This tip will get repetitive and annoying but it's there. Once you know the base of what you are looking for, that's where you just improvise and draw how you would like it best to be drawn. That can or might define your style. Stuff you like can define your style.
If you are willing to draw character I suggest looking through how anatomy works. Anatomy is a really large subject which can take weeks/months/years to fully grasp it. So be sure to always practice if you ever want to become better!
Each time you draw you increase your drawing ability but you will not notice it right away. Sometimes you grow just a little. Sometimes you massively improve. I question myself a lot when drawing if this works or not.
And to finish this comment, experiment. Ridiculous or not, just try new things. Don't be over critical because something is not done right. Everyone makes mistake and you get better by experimenting/practicing.
One last thing. If you ever go through an art block, just relax and do something else beside drawing and come back when you feel you can art again. If you are willing to draw but you feel that you can't draw at all then just draw something simple for that day and take it easy.
