“You too, huh?” said Lily, startling Dylan. He was so lost in thought, staring into the distance, that he didn’t hear her coming and leaning on the rail guard next to him.
“I… just came for fresh air.”
“Yeah, right.”
Lily also stared ahead. The lights of the houses below were starting to light up as the sun settled, covering the landscape in a warm embrace.
“Wow!” she exclaimed. “It’s a nice view! Now you should have your camera with you!”
“I have it right here…”
“Did you get a picture already?”
“Uhhh…”
“Come on! Give me that.”
Lily snatched Dylan’s camera off his hands and pointed it at the scenery, fascinated by the view. She took a few pictures and started looking for different angles while Dylan simply observed. Lily then glanced at Dylan and had an idea. Without warning, she stood next to him and raised the camera to take a selfie of them both, trying to also showcase the view behind them.
“What are you-?”
“Smile!” Lily growled while trying to maintain a smile herself.
As quickly as she did all this, she lowered the camera again and started walking around, browsing her newly taken pictures. She accidentally went a bit too far and started browsing Dylan’s pictures. Many of them were pictures of Lily, which she knew already, that he liked to take “candid” pictures of her. Dylan suspected that she was browsing his photos and walked towards her.
“Hey! Can I…?”
“Shh! Be quiet.”
