OK! I know I've been afk from artwork and whatnot, but I've been very busy so far with RL (job, home problems, finding colleges etc), but I figure I'd show this to wipe off some cobwebs.
This is my take on Shin Gojira, taking a bit of aesthetics between Shin + a bit from the 1954 design. The Dorsal fins are a hybrid design of Maple leaf + Savage, giving it a distinctive "charred and scarred" appearance like he REALLY got bombed. Funny part to this whole madness:
This is not even the finished model, and not his FINAL Form.
My personal take on this godzilla is different from Anno's direct approach, instead going by with a sequel theory "What if the original godzilla actually survived the Oxygen Destroyer Bomb?" with this in play, this Godzilla will have 2 more phases, the last being the godzilla you know and love with a twist. I'm sure by the time everything gets organized you will love the final result .

Model was made/painted in Sculptris, Blender for fixxups/Decimation, Zbrush for Decimation Master ( Thank you Dopepope I owe you one), and for this final rendition, seeing how I have plans on a game type model (HINT), I recently looked up online and found a unique tool called meshlab. With that tool, I was able to decimate the model seen here to a game ready model while preserving all the. Only downside to this is that I might have decimated too much off the original (Which I kept safe just incase), and I might redo the decimation once I figure out how to select which parts I want decimated.
Overall, still alive and kicking, and rawr XD.
