That's it! Exactly! The H-M Vehicles Free-Way (or FreeWay, the spelling wasn't very consistent)

I've liked it ever since I read an article about it in the December 1979 issue of Motor Trend (which I got in the mid-'80s in a pile of old car magazines I was given by a friend of my sister's). I wish I could find that magazine now. Insects have probably eaten it.
The slogan was "Why drive a carriage when you only need the horse?" They made about 700 before they went out of business.
BTW, the green and white car to the back right is a Nash Metropolitan.

The Nash Metropolitan has its own story to it. It was shown as a concept car and got good feedback, but the accountants said no, because the expected sales wouldn't cover building a new factory for the car and developing and building a brand new engine. So the idea was shelved until the head of Nash met the head of Austin, a British car company. Austin not only had extra capacity, it also had an engine that would fit. So Austin built the Metropolitan for Nash, included their engine in it, and shipped the cars to the US.
