I suggested in my last journal that I might start sharing some of my random doodles with you guys. Well, typing that journal and letting out my art frustrations seemed to be just the cure I needed, because last night all of this flowed out of my pen in a burst of inspiration. And it was FUN, I tell you!They are all from SPM, except for poor Rambi, who somehow got caught up in this insanity.
The Mimi pictures are my favorites. I'm on that part of the game right now on my replay. I love how bipolar she is XD "But golly, one little thing- DON'T YOU DARE GO INTO ANY OTHER ROOM!!! -Have a super day!"
The one at the top is the best though, hence the name of this doodle collection.

Yeah, I want one as a pet too... and a Chain Chomp, and a Fuzzy, and a Klaptrap. Why do I have such an interest in things that would want to eat me (or at least suck my blood)?
Yeah, I knew that. It fits her. Let me tell you, I forgot just how terrifying Mimi's transformation into her true self is O_O But now that I'm replaying the game again, I was reminded of it. HOLY CRAP it's freaky! How she snaps her neck and her head spins and stuff... ultra creepy. And I forgot that she actually explodes when you pay the debt back. XD So random. Little Mimi bits flying everywhere.

also, it states that perhaps mimi could actually be a pixl.
anyway, I drew a comic about mimi and dimentio competing for publicity in the theatre

Yeah, I've never actually seen The Exorcist (I get scared way too easily, so I don't watch horror movies), but I know her head spins around so I figured it was a reference. At any rate, it's reeeeally creepy. <_<
Yeah, one of the theories of Mimi's existence is that she was a failed Pixl experiment. That's just one of the fascinating bits of info you can get from talking to the coffeeshop owner in Flopside. This is the theory I've adopted for her backstory, which I plan to draw out sometime in comic form.

Thanks! I'm sure I will... SPM characters are always popping up in my gallery. Usually I draw Mimi more humanized, but the simplistic style is best for expressions and attitude

I always wondered what the hell was up with those boombox enemies. They'd just be strolling alond, and then POW, they get a deranged expression and start firing sonic blasts at you. Well, Sound is vibration, so methinks the speakers may be jostling their brains a bit too much.

I think they're frolicking about in their own private realm of musical bliss, and when they see any invader who might attempt to interrupt them, they must DESTROY! So they shoot their supersonic soundwaves at you.
And yes, I think listening to their music at max volume for so long has made them quite unstable.

Wow, all those are from SPM? What a...unique game. I never would have guessed. Well, Bleck and Rambi I know, but the rest of them...all weirdos.
I like these a lot. The best pictures are always the ones you just whip out without any thought. No obligations, no strings attached, just you, a pencil, and some paper. The way art was meant to be.

I agree... The careless sketching of an artist reveals volumes about them and their style. You can expect to see lots more of this stuff from me in the future.

I love the Rambi. O_o That really stood out for me the moment I looked at this. The texture and depth you gave to him even in a simple sketch looks amazing. The SPM drawings are great too, of course. I think I like the angry Mimi in the lower corner best of those.
And most importantly, it's great to hear you had fun drawing them!

That's Merlee's pet... you might not recognize it because it was made out of rectangles and triangles in the game XD It's supposed to be like a guard dog, though, so I made it more realistic.
