Oh man, Paps did it.
This page was made with a small dose of ~* t e c h n i c a l d i f f i c u l t i e s *~ ! My pen wasn't working at the start of this week, so this page and the next one were inked traditionally! It would've been funner if my pen actually flowed consistently. Still like digital better, probably out of habit, but the stroke of a real pen nib just can't be matched.
Oh also I'm gonna be gone for the next 3 weeks, so the posts you'll be seeing from now on will be FROM THHE PAST. Because I wanted to have a hassle-free vacation. So sorry if I won't be responding to comments / notes for a while.

I see comments of both "poor Sans, Pap is being way too harsh" and then I see comments that say "Pap is right, Sans should be doing more," but what makes this scene pack the emotional punch that it does is that no one is happy with this. They're both right, they're both wrong, everyone's sad and there's feels everywhere

Oooh, Sans... D% This part made me so sad in the fic, and it makes me sad here, too. That teeny, tiny "please, stop" dialogue bubble, man... and the harsh shading on Sans there really highlights his despair.
Also love that expression on Papyrus as he slowly realizes--it's a really uncomfortable (in a good way) mix of angry and horrified. He's horrified at the realization that Sans is not okay, but he can't magically make himself stop being angry.

Papyrus's expression progression was really tough to get right, and even now I feel it could be better. Because yeah, Papyrus's anger doesn't magically disappear, it's something he still feels very strongly, but a new emotion has been thrown in the mix. It's an interesting expression to try to draw, and it was certainly a challenge. I'm so happy you were able to understand it!

Tbh while everyone is feeling sad for Sans, I'm thinking Payrus is right.
He deserved those insults. Now, before you use his "Depression" as an excuse, hear me out:
Sure, Sans is depressed and shit.
Is he trying to overcome it? no. Is he talking to someone, ANYONE, about it? No. He says that Papy shouldn't keep secrets from him, yet he does. He isn't even TRYING to be a good brother. Yet he expects his brother to be everything he wants.

Well from what i see, he doesn't want to bother papyrus more and he doesn't want to make papyrus worried about him, and i see their brotherly bond really cute and sweet because they really care of each other, and it really sad to see them like this in this page T-T (sorry, i just get too emotional)
