Sans makes his stunning / hungover entrance. Inspirational.
Wow, this comic now has 20 pages. I heard Macklemore say somewhere that 20 dollars is a lot, so I'd say 20 pages is a lot too. I'm thinking I'll take this next week off to catch up with schoolwork and other projects, so sorry if there's no page next week. Breaks are important.

Ahahaha all the dramatic lines as Sans makes his entrance. XD I like how you show his expression through the eyes while keeping his mouth mostly static, like it is in the games! Agh and the folds on his coat look so nice. how do this?? Also, really liking how you colored the hardwood on the table!
Ahaha Papyrus's exasperated expression in that second-to-last panel... or maybe it's just tiredness? I kindof wonder what he's thinking there--like, maybe of the fact that Sans isn't remotely suspicious over the fact that Papyrus got so strong so fast? But then, he doesn't WANT Sans to know, given what Flowey said...

Yeah I wanted Sans to have a dramatic entrance, and since he isn't really uh conducive to that role, I thought I'd do it for him with the lines lol. I've been thinking a lot about how I'll be showing Sans and his expressions, and for now I'll keep him smiling most of the time, though his expression will be slightly more flexible than in the games. Oh clothing folds, I've been using more references than usual because I'm still slightly shaky when it comes to loose clothing. I'm sure it'll get easier, cuz I'll be drawing Sans a lot from now on.
That expression of Papyrus is a pretty complex one. I'd say yeah he's tired, but he's also trying to deal with the fact that he's getting annoyed by Sans for no reason, in addition to dealing with the pressure of having to constantly hide a chunk of his life from Sans. Or at least that's what I meant it to show. Really it's up to the reader's interpretation.
This scene, like a lot of the scenes in this fic, gets real brutal real fast. Oh geez this is gonna be fun to draw

Oh my god, Sansy. He's perfect! I don't know if the shades under his eyes are a hungover effect or are connected to his depression, but they really add to overal "m' tired n' hungover" vibe. Nice work on hiding HOW THE HELL does Sans eat without opening his mouth. The breadcrumbs flying in the general Papyrus' direction are both practical, realistic and funny. The way you drew Papyrus' expression is fantastic and I bet Sans already noticed something's off ( I mean, I bet there was something off all the time, but this is the first time I see them interact, so yeah). And I just noticed your way of shading their skulls - you make a little highlight at the back of the shadow, that's an interesting touch. Also good job on counting bones in hands (the thumbs have only three, yay anatomy!)
