Very true. I think that Flowey is more Asriel than Flowey at this point...other than having a flower for a body. I mean, his ACTUAL body probably turned to dust LONG ago....Though, he regained his original form when he absorbed the human souls but...that was with a LOT of human power...

Perhaps he could be able to return in the future. I've seen fanfics and comics where Frisk gives their half of their soul to Asriel. Essentially they literally cannot survive without each other. If Frisk died Asriel would die as well. In one case Asriel even gained human determination, which a monster would normally be unable to have.

In all seriousness though, I absolutely love the emotion that these pages have been making me feel. Just--poor Flowey... he really doesn't need this right now, but that's probably why the Forgotten is doing it now. After all, they're "beyond time and space;" they've probably been planning this for forever, and have had enough time to work out all the kinks... which just makes them all the scarier. Dang, you've cooked up a good villain.
... I have a bad hunch that, now that Flowey's at his lowest, the Forgotten are going to carry out the next step of their plan... yikes.

Yes. The Forgotten even waited for him to reach his lowest low, ASKING for help, from ANYONE. Waiting until Flowey was at his mst desperate, as though it knew that was where Flowey had to be before he could be manipulated.
