Uh oh, looks like someone's had a truely terible idea.'s contest prize of Shwish about to try her hand at flying. I seem to be in a bit of a silly mood at the moment, first the breadfish and now this.
Now you may reconise this, as the idea was stolen from the comment thread on Shwish's ref, where there was a discussion about her trying to fly with palm leaves. Having searched dA and found no such image, I decided to ilustrate the idea.
I'm really pleased with how Shwish came out, but the birds and background I'm not too fond of. I spent ages trying to get it to look as I'd imagined it but it just wouldn't cooperate so I left it as is. The birds are based on scarlet macaws, but have slightly different markings.

Aww this is something I'd been meaning to draw for ages, but haven't. I love the colours you did in the background, and the way you used line only on Shwish really creates depth in the picture.
And the way shes all like 'i'mma gonna do this now' haha, i'm loving that experssion. Awwwww its awesome, thank you so very very much
