And this is the result of my improvement over the course of this past semester. What you see here is my final project for an art class I was taking, of which was a major contributor of my stress (beyond my laptop breaking down).

I'm pleased with my improvement, but I'm still trying to get faster and more intuitive when laying down shapes and value blocks. I still feel so very slow, so I'm excited to see this improvement start to affect my comic. The rule with this assignment was, use references but do not just duplicate a photo or combination of photos. So, it was essentially what I already do with references, only it had to be far more realistic than I tend to draw. (So that was a challenge initially, but I got over it.)

Anyway, this is just a small update to show you one of the many things I was up to last month. Now, with that out of the way, on to more comic!
