For my Frontier Reboot's 2nd anniversary, I thought I could make a compilation of all D-Scanners of all ten Legendary Warriors alongside making colors for the warriors of Earth, Wood, Water and Steel and giving everyone a 2.0 version (thought I had to figure the colors out to fit in the 2.0 version scheme). I used CWK34's base to make everyone alongside the 2.0 version.First row: Fire, Light, Ice, Wind, Thunder
Second row: Darkness, Earth, Wood, Water, Steel
In my reboot I had already mentioned there's a big shift in the showdown against Cherubimon, where I changed Ophanimon's idea from unlocking Hyper Spirit Evolution into giving Tomoki, Izumi, Junpei and Kouichi their Advanced Forms (while I delayed the Zetas for some episodes to make room for the four other kids to join and giving them some time to shine at once, however they'll have the Version 1 only due having too little time to include the 2.0 version as well), the D-Scanners from the Warriors of Ice, Wind and Thunder also changed into the 2.0 version just because I can (for Kouichi I was not doing this because he joined just recently). There are also theoretical 2.0 versions for the warriors of Darkness, Earth, Wood, Water and Steel for any case.
About the color choices for the Version 1 of the missing four...
Earth: Simply using Grottomon's color scheme. The 2.0 version just uses brown. Easiest one of the Missing Four.
Wood: A bit difficult, because I associate the Wood Element with green, but Arbormon is a literal wood automaton. Petaldramon however is green with maroon leaves, so I'm using green and light brown to have a balance. But the 2.0 version just uses light brown because of... the Steel variant and I don't want to mix up.
Water: Color scheme might be easy to figure, but it would be too similar with Hayate's D-Reader 1.0 and Hikaru's D-Reader 2.0 (see Frontier Genesis with the D-Readers). At the end I used Ranamon's color scheme anyway and made the ring and buttons light blue, just because if Izumi's variant is light green, Chiaki's version can be light blue. The 2.0 version finally has blue as a main color.
Steel: Possibly the most difficult one because it would be too similar to Tomoki's D-Scanner versions if I'm going with the 2.0 version scheme, so I had to figure out how to differ them. I decided for the Version 1 palladium silver coupled with dark green (which simulates jade), because palladium is a very valueable metal alongside gold and the jade gemstone was fabled in Chinese mythology, so it fits. The 2.0 version just has jade green.
And for the other warriors' 2.0 versions which will also appear in my Frontier reboot (except Darkness):
Ice: Shares the problem with the Steel variant due having green as main color, so I had to use a different green color to differ both. Light green was chosen because I thought on peppermint ice cream.
Wind: There was an image toy variant of the D-Scanner Ver. 3 I found on Wikimon, so I just go with pink.
Thunder: Problem was to differ the yellow from the gold ring, so I made the yellow color brighter.
Darkness: It's essentially a color swap of the Version 1, but it works.
