Reaper!Liz AU sound like a great idea... And honestly I would like add a little more angst to it... What if Patty becomes a Kishin without knowing her sister became a Reaper? She disappears after Kid's dead and she thinks her sister is dead too... Patty thinks the world is pointless without Kid and Liz and she decides to destroy it... How? Becoming a Kishin as she slowly falls into the madness.
And now, Liz has too seal away her own sister like Shinigami-sama did with Asura...

My headcanon is Your soul gets darker and richer in color depending on how far off the "good" path you are...Maka's is a pure blue, so she's nevr intentionally done wrong, but Liz and Patti's are a deep pink...who knows what they had to do on the streets to survive. They're halfway there.

I hope you don't mind me saying this, but I've noticed you seem to have a tendency to kill off Death the Kid. He died in that fanfiction you wrote, and here he dies again. I'm curious, do you find there's a good storytelling element in the way certain characters like the Thompson Sisters cope with the loss of a beloved one? Hope I didn't sound rude or anything! ^_^

...I do. Actually I've killed the Thompsons off in short drabbles or illustrations before, too. It's definitely that, I enjoy seeing my favorite characters struggle with difficult emotions--and Kid is the most fun to kill off for me because, one, he's immortal, so it's just like CHALLENGE ACCEPTED, and two, I loooooove seeing the sisters making it on their own, like they did back on the streets. They're honestly very underrepresented in the fandom.

Patty is my favourite character and I wish there was more stuff about her out there 'cause she's awesome! I am glad that Ohkubo gave them much more screen time in Soul Eater Not! though, even if they weren't quite the same sisters that we grew to love before. ^_^Β

I couldn't stand NOT! because the characterizations made no sense...like, Liz and Patti knew how to charm someone into giving them things like tips. Sure they hated the cafe, but you know what they also hated? Living on the streets.
The first few minutes of episode 6 totally break me every time though
