Description Just a quick one day drawing of Aaron on his bike that I have been wanting to do for a while. He's used it as the background for his blog -> [link]

I like it when Ive seen people do drawings that are intentionally half finished, and I also like drawing on a mid tone rather than plain white, but I dont do very much of either so this is me experimenting a bit. I think this drawing needs more.....something! I cant quite decide but it just doesnt look quite right to me yet. What do you guys think?

Love it. You know how much I like unfinished things.

Maybe some more free, abstract and pattern-based work at ground level on the left to balance the tones of the figure? If I may say as much, I think it is the balance that makes it seem incomplete compositionally, even within the unfinished 'style'.

Thought you might suggest patterns Yeah I think you might have a point with the balance. Ta bob.

Great shading! I hate when a doodle turns inte something I'm happy with and then later on realising the paper is squared or lined on the backside, even if I guess it's intentional on your part

Thank you Yeah I always draw with a grid and decided to leave it on this time. Its a pain in the arse to rub out anyway!

Yes in this case it matches the sketchy feel of the half drawn bike very well, if only I was so lucky
