This is what I made my mum for her birthday in March, from a photo of me and her at my graduation last year. The scan has made it go all grainy
But it turned out pretty well apart from I wasnt very happy with the faces. Its just slightly smaller than A3, and took me bloody ages.

totally your best yet, more in the handling of the clothes than the faces i think. which sounds totally wrong. the faces are excellent, the clothing however is practically perfect. faultless

That is some incredible shading and pencil work, and yes it looks as if it would take a great many hours. Nice work, your mom must have loved it.
