Well we all see that they are from the Princess Twilight coronation ceremony, hence their outfits. Well...I realize that even though alicorns seem to be all mighty, that doesn't make them immortal, but I still like the idea of them being that way...it causes a bitter sweet ordeal for Twilight. If she were immortal, than she would out live all of her friends, and wouldn't that be just so sad? To see them all go? Well...that is why I like that idea xD I'm a terrible person...but anyways...that is why Twilight says "Now I really can love you for--"
but Pinkie cuts her off and finishes her sentence..."Forever..."
This is because in the episode Green Isn't Your Color, remember the whole "FFFOOOORRREVVVERRRRRR" thing? Duh.
