Yay, another vector!!! And this time it's pony related!!! Here's Rainbow Dash from the cafeteria scene in Equestria Girls where the Mane 6 were singing "Helping Twilight Win The Crown"! Such a catchy song, and a pretty fun scene all in all...So I decided to shade this vector, and tried a few new things! I used some SVG filters for the background and to try to emulate subsurface scattering and a felt texture in her left ear. Overall I think they came out rather well, although I'll probably play around with filters more in the future! I may try to get to some more vectors too, on a more regular basis. Unfortunately I've been super busy at work so I haven't gotten around to doing a lot yet, but as things get a little let busy I should be able to do more

OH YEAH MY LITTLE PONY JUST GOT ABOUT 20 PERCENT COOLER WITH THIS EPIC EPIC FAN-ART. This piece is absolutely wonderful! For starters, the shading is gorgeous, and the art is flawlessly depicting Rainbow Dash, every single detail is spot on! My only recommendation is to use a more interesting background colour, I feel that the white is just to simple for an already amazing piece. Low score on the originality due to the obvious fact that this is not an original character or pose. In all, this piece is awesome like Rainbow Dash herself.

Very nice! I just watched your shading tutorial on youtube a couple days ago. The skirt looks so velvety and three dimensional.
I have two criticisms: what I am calling the "Five O'Clock Shadow" effect because of the chin/jaw shading, as well as the really dark shading under the far hand and neck. I think because of the pastel brightness that the characters are drawn in, making the shadows really dark makes things look dirtied to me instead of only shaded. Also, because the characters are drawn in two dimensions, it is difficult to define where shadows should fall under their faces. The shading of the jaw gives an almost bearded impression to me.

As much as I love hasbro and their talent, you have completely put them to shame. This is by far the greatest Equestria Girls Rainbow Dash I have ever seen. I am completely blown away at this. Bravo my friend, bravo.

I take it the felt for the ears is intended to look on the thin side. It appears slightly translucent as I can see the shape to Rainbow Dash's hair through the inside of the left ear but not through the outer portion that is visible.
