Description Here's a vector of Twilight Sparkle all prepped for wrapping up winter that I made for my cake day (March 17)! I've been working on trying to make my strokes more even, and hopefully it shows. As always, please feel free to critique! I think my colors may be off slightly since I lifted them from my reference image, so I may upload a recolored one soon. My svg can be found here: [link]

Your SVG does not exist on Mediafire anymore. Could you change the link, ple-ease?..

I don't use Photoshop now, I use Inkscape modified by you! I got used to it.

Hey there Optimus97! I just re-uploaded to ponyscape.org, so the downloads should work... You can find them in the latest journal entry: [link] . Hope this helps!

You re-uploaded Ponyscape or... vector SVG files?

Erp, just Ponyscape... I'll re-upload the svg files to sta.sh tomorrow when I get some time... Sorry about the confusion!

How do you make vectors?

Glad you asked!! To start with, you need vectoring software. I personally use Inkscape, although a lot of artists I know use Adobe Illustrator. I started out following a lot of the awesome tutorials at the #MLP-VectorClub , and would highly recommend them to anypony who wants to learn how to vector. You could also check out ~RainbowRage12 's youtube tutorials here: [link] . A lot of vectoring is really just fine tuning the shapes and paths in your artwork to get something that looks good.

If you're looking to start out vectoring, I'd recommend downloading Inkscape and taking a look at any of the "source vector files" on any of my deviations, or on a bunch of the deviations in the #MLP-VectorClub gallery. This is a great way to see how they're put together, and kinda get a good understanding of where to go from there. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!!

I noticed you are using the colors from the ITunes version of the show, If you want to use a more saturated color scheme might I suggest: [link]

On the complementary side, it looks very nice! Good job!

Thanks! That color/style guide is really nice! A lot of the ones that I've found have been somewhat confusing and not very straightforward, but this one is very helpful. I'll definitely use it when I get around to recoloring Twilight and on my future vectors!
