Needs more Optimus Prime, and more good ol' sparkbonding in general.Oh Optimus, what a big shiny spark you have there.
I totally made up
1. the inside of the spark chamber
2. the conveniently retracting chestplates (subspace = MAGIC)
Done on oekaki (Shi-Painter Pro), hence the sketchiness.

That's the problem with fanfiction: there's no set rules. DX (Something like that really sounds as if it would permanent, but that's just my thought.)

I guess it depends on the author's take on it. :> After all, Autobot and Decepticon used to be merely political parties, and if one could choose either faction it means a spark isn't naturally GOOD or EVIL.

Personally I don't think one can be pre-destined to be good or evil from 'construction'. Freedom of choice is where it's at, for me, and I (maybe a little in Beast Wars style) believe sparks are essentially "good" and pure at 'birth'.
Well, it's interesting to compare points of view, isn't it? This is such an interesting (albeit very abstract) topic in my opinion, and so full of potential...

It is true that Megatron's spark almost killed Optimus in TFA, but I assume it was because of the AllSpark lodged in it.
On the other hand, touching a spark is supposed to be pleasurable for the owner, still according to fanfiction. 8)
