Right off the bat, I love the idea of Flurry Heart play the role of disobedient teenager. It’s hilarious because it forces you to think how she’s going to grow up in the coming years. Now this drawing is similar to “Just A Phase”, but what makes it even funnier is that we get to see the princess interact with her parents instead of just having her talk to them. What’s even more comical is that Shining Armor sounds more puzzled while Cadence sounds more appalled. On top of that, I love how FH is aggravated that ponies keep comparing her style to emo. It’s a good commentary on how just because just because someone is dressed in all black, it doesn’t mean they’re into that style of music.
Now there is one major complaint I have about the piece, and that’s the scribbles. They serve as a huge distraction. In previous drawings, the scribbles were more bunched together, and travelled in the same direction. Here, there’s more space between them, and they travel in various direction, like on the right shoulder. In fact, some scribbles are even in areas where they don’t need to be, like the right wing, and the mane. Be sure to put them only in areas where they need to be, and make sure they are drawn the way I suggested they should be so that they’re more presentable, especially when you’re shading on a lighter coat like this.
But other than that, I think this image is fantastic! You always find a way to infuse comedy into your music related drawings, and this one is no exception. Aside from having great character interactions, it’s marvelously outlined, greatly, colored, and it gives a great insight into how the young princess will behave in the future. Overall, it’s another marvelous piece! Keep up the amazing work, FlutterThrash!

Very detailed, and the colors blend together well. Flurry's expression is very appropriate for the theme and style of the picture. Her wings, tail and mane are neatly-drawn and colored. Her overall appearance is more humorous than intimidating. The comments of Shining Armor and Cadence, as well as Flurry's responses, add to the humor of the situation depicted. The "scribbles" throughout the picture are not distracting; they blend in perfectly, and even the "ground" at the bottom of the picture was drawn carefully. I personally admire the way in which the artist's signature blends in with the "scribbles" on the ground. I don't believe the "Flurry Heart all grown up" concept has been explored much in the fandom, so in addition to having obvious artistic credibility and a sense of humor, the artist has explored some new fandom territory with this piece.
