Description
Finally I was able to complete this painting, which had been lying around unfinished for more than two months!Again, the subject is another little bird of our areas, the blue tit. This painting came as an evolution of early pieces, like the bullfinch [link] and the lady's slipper orchid [link] : I started with a plywood board (40x25 cm) on which I glued down magazine scraps in the shades of grey, then I carried on with acrylics to outline the bird.
Enjoy!

Thank you: it is rather long, but also fun to do!

Thank you! Glad you like it
The whole process is a bit long: first I prepared the plywood board with sandpaper and a white base, then I glued on it coloured scraps of magazines in the hues of grey. The drawing itself (tit and branch) was done with acrylics and completed with a layer of finishing spray to protect the surface.
More or less like this [link] or, even better, this [link]

Thank you! It takes ages to finish gluing all the scraps, at least the overall effect is eye catching!
