Description
For once I chose to go small: this painting was done on a little board 20x20 cm and probably I'll reiterate in the future. Compared to other huge pieces i did (like this flysch.deviantart.com/art/Figh… or this flysch.deviantart.com/art/Summ… , this one was much less time consuming
The subject is in tune with the season: a tiny robin among the snow captured by the always worthy (here the reference picture thrumyeye.deviantart.com/art/R… ) , done with acrylics of a plywood board.
So far, so simple.
Then inspiration struck me. Why not try for the first time the golden glitter I bought some weeks ago? Wonderful result, awful handling: our whole home now has been invaded by heaps of sparkling particles.
Well, perfect for the upcoming Christmas!

I like the idea of a compound piece made out of different puzzle tiles.
