We managed to get away from the mimic room mostly unscathed (Sal was NOT happy about their mask being broken [it sure did fall aaaaalll the way down, bc they didn't end up putting it back on before we went to sleep], but they were able to fix it with mending so it wasn't a horrible loss), and Spook did his best to put his foot down and said he wanted to stay in the catacombs tonight like he said we should before, because it would be safe.

There was nobody at the usual spot when we got there, and Fehn, noticing Sal was still pretty pissed, suggested that they paint the place a bit. Trixi tried to say it was impolite if they didn't ask, and Fehn was like "it wouldn't be a surprise then!". I do love him choosing to cause trouble on occassion, lol. Spook just said not to paint on the coffin without permission, but the wall was okay. Now it's all colourful!

Mariam was there when we woke up, and after asking what we were doing down here again so soon (and deciding she did not in fact want to know more details when Spook just said "our room tried to eat us"), she shooed us away because we'd overslept and were going to be late if we didn't head out.

I figure she got there while everyone was still asleep and had a little thinkin time. Sal does not in fact sleep and could've spoke up if they felt like it since they would've seen her arrive, but I think they were more curious what her reaction would be if they didn't.
