Description
PART 2:
Sorry about the large file. I wanted everyone to see the screenshots clearly.
I really got annoyed with people asking me how to make presets so I decided to make a tutorial.
DOWNLOAD HERE-->www.mediafire.com/?nrbc1b2usbr…
They are .psd files and I'm not sure if they work for Gimp users. I would be happy to convert the files for anyone that has problems.
Have a question/problem? Ask me and Ill post it here. Someone else might have the same problem. But otherwise I believe my tutorial is pretty straight forward.
Can't open your material file? Says it's invalid?
When that window pops up there should be and option to pick a program to open. Be sure to choose notepad.

Is there a notepad that will work/function the same/similar way as the notepad you have for mac? I'm a mac user x'(

I am not sure. I would think mac would have something similar but I do not know. I've never owned a mac computer.

I believe I'v figured it out. There's something already on the mac called Terminal. It works similar-like. But it has none of those options such as "replace". You have to physically go and change the words yourself. I've tried it and it worked ^-^

I don't see a replace button in the edit menu. Could you help?
Edit: I am using notepad++, and #6 if that helps with anything.

A replace should be there for any notepad, I'm not familiar with notepad++ though. Try Goggling it.

I'm really new to this and I have a question
I tried to do this, and the pelt works but the eyes wont show up, and I can't export it. Nothing comes up when I click export and It doesn't show up in my presets on my normal 'Create a Character'
Help, please...?

Might have to do with the coding. Make sure your texture files are labeled exactly the same as in the material file.

So I was using this and I ran into a small problem: wings are refusing to show up. Do you know how to solve this?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
FlyWheel68 In reply to Cosmic-Cucumbers [2012-11-14 00:52:49 +0000 UTC]
You need to put the coding in for the wings and make sure you save them as a jpg.

Cosmic-Cucumbers In reply to FlyWheel68 [2012-11-14 10:44:27 +0000 UTC]
The coding? As in the thing from the material file? Cause, I tried that(by copying and pasting the information from preset_11 and changing the words by replacing preset with the wolf's name and #11 with #4 since that is the preset folder I'm using.) and at first it wouldn't show up on the game. So I tried something else and now Preset_4 fell off the face of the earth cause now, I can't even find the preset on FH now. Do you know what I did wrong? I can take screenshots of whatever if you want me too.

FlyWheel68 In reply to Cosmic-Cucumbers [2012-11-14 13:50:13 +0000 UTC]
The file being gone on FH means that there is something wrong with the files so no worry. If you send me a screenshot of your preset files and your material file I should be able to figure out whats wrong.
I'll just give you the coding just in case.
