So it's that time, I've gotten back from my trips and now I've got time to post up some of these WIPs images that I've been talking about.Since Lan Fan had a lot of little stuff going on, I figured I'd break it down into smaller sections to make it more manageable. I also figured that posting up all of these WIP images will help when I post the Sintra tutorial that I'm still writing /sigh.

Where can you buy Sintra? I'm planning to make Lan Fan next year for my convention. Also, do you have any tips for the breast plate?

How sturdy is using sintra?? I have an idea for Ed but i need it to be able to handle moving around alot and have things pulling on it

It's very sturdy, but the material is a bit difficult to form - People usually have an easier time with Worbla and such.

You did such an amazing job cosplaying as Lan Fan!! Especially your automail; it looks incredible. I'm actually trying to make this cosplay myself and I was wondering what you used to make your mask. I'm trying to use paper mache, but I've never really done anything like this before....

How do you secure on the shoulder and arm? I'm not sure how to stop it from slipping off.

I used some elastic straps and velcro.

Coolio. I also noticed that your appear to have the blade in the first few pictures, but not in the final product. Was there trouble getting it onto the final arm, or did you just decide not to use it?

I decided against including it, because the way I made it, it would have been too easy to break, and I would have been poking people too easily.
If I planned on wearing it for a non-convention photoshoot, i would probably include the blade.

Lol thank you! I swear I'm working on the tutorial xD It's just when I start writing, I write and write and write.... so there is a ton of information to organize and get into a tutorialish format. /sigh
