For some reason, I really like that tie. It looks realistic and smooth ... like one of those kinds of ties that you just want to touch, but you don't, because that would be odd, because stroking someone else's tie is just weird.

... don't you love when you get comments like the one above? *points at lastshadow's post* X) I don't mean that in a condescending or mean way - I just saying... that's really sweet. ^^

I am personally of the opinion that every man who wears a silky or leather tie secretly does it in hopes that a random woman will start stroking their chest...

...and thus I operate under this opinion on a regular basis >_>

I am personally of the opinion that every man who has worn a silky or leather (leather ties? *has never seen one, again*) tie that you have stroked, perhaps on a regular basis, is covertly preening and overtly proud to show off their tie collections. 8D

You know what's really cute? TAILS. Tails PLUS the carmelldansen. My friend had a concert to present, so he was wearing tails. And he did the carmelldansen. AND MY GOD IT WAS SO CUTE. D8 <3

YEAH when did tails go out of regular use?! My dad wore tails at his wedding and every time I see the photos I melt out of adorableness *________* <3 I want to see a cute boy wearing tails do the carmelldansen! *stalks concert halls, stroking mens ties idly as she lies in wait*

Really soft leather ties are pretty much the sexiest thing ever....so shiny, and the way they feel is incredible...nothing like silk. Mmmmmmmmmm.... every time my brother asks which tie to wear, I give him this look and don't even have to say a word before he puts on the leather one. (;

... shit, where the heck did my phone go. I thought I had it on me, but I just looked, and it's NOT IN THE POCKET. OMIGAH. @A@

oh yea, and about cell phones: are you on Verizon? 'cuz if you are, we can call each other for freee~~~ 8D You know, after I find my phone, that is.

*flip out*
you captured him PERFECTLY.
HOMAN i love his hands for some reason...they remind me exactly of a programmer's, if that makes any sense? (probably not )

DDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
*thrilled* Thank you so much for the art and for doing prizes for the contest overall. That and your presence and conversation made it so much fun!

...that must be why (:
And referring to kheleksul's comment, these are also my favourite kinds of comments to leave

Ugh I shouldn't have referred to programming; I'm reminded that there's only one day left in the weekend ):

Speaking of work, do you happen to have a higher res version that I could use for a desktop on my tasty vertical monitor at work : X?

Hehe, I've got my fill of programming for the next month or so. teaching 3D Modeling now.

Yes, haha - I do have higher res. I'll upload it now.

Oooo, 3D modelling how? Graph-y modelling or AutoCAD-y modelling? (Graph-y is a technical term in the highest, obv.)

Awesome! Thanks so much! <3 <3

Maya, haha. Character modeling. I have never tried autoCAD.

It is made of puppies and Brett Anderson and all kinds of lovely things (at least SolidWorks is!)

We were given a "Maya for Dummies" book and a month to build a realistic model of my school's SmartHome. ......it didn't exactly happen quite like they planned. Maya's got such a steep learning curve! I'm seriously impressed by people who know what they're doing in it. I'd love to see what you can do with it (:

fongmingyun In reply to lastshadow [2008-07-27 17:35:00 +0000 UTC]

Lol. The mechanical engineers use solidworks a lot.

Lol. I don't think I'll finish my model of Kai ... like... ever. So far he's a blank torso, lol. I should opst my demo reel stuff, though. But yeah, Maya's learning curve is like... not a curve - it's a cliff, hahhaa.

An' that's what I am (:

!! Do post! I wish to stare at the character creation of the future for an extended time with starry eyes (:

I think we got...a floor down. It may or may not have had the right dimensions...I don't know why they had us do something so dimensionally dependent in Maya...I always thought there must be some program more fitted to building modeling than Maya. ._.

Favorite because they then, in turn, come with art? ;DDDD

Ve...VERTICAL MONITOR?! *O*! I didn't even know such things existed!

...precisely >
and because it gives me license to use exorbitantly huge amounts of hearts and smiles DDDDDDDDDDDD <-- case in point

they're basically regular LCD monitors mounted so that you can twist them into a vertical position and then set your monitor settings to turn everything sideways with it (: The ones at work are relatively small Dells, but HP makes these HUMUNGOUS ones that would be so awesome to do vertical art on.....mmmm not having to scroll *3*
