So I finished my costume in time for Acen! I'm the Ezio on the right of course the one on the left is the wonderfulLet me just say that I'm not happy with how a lot of things turned out on this costume. first off I didnt have time to complete the wristblades, no one wants an assassin without wristblades lol. The hood sits weird but I know how to fix that, the pauldren slips off, I didnt finish the shoulder puffs which I think will add a lot. The front flaps come down way to low, the greaves are floppy, all the flaps need to be finished screen printing and dyed a bit darker grey I need to make either the glove or other gauntlet for my right arm finish sculpting gauntlet accessories...I think thats it XD.
So I'm glad I had it, I figured out what the problems were and now I have all summer to make this costume perfect. Hopefully gonna do a real photoshoot this summer too.

Wow man, the leather looks awsome; what kind did you get and what all did you do to it? Most people have such fake looking leather for the AC outfits, but yours looks pretty spot on. Care to share us up and coming AC costumers?

yeah Im' always happy to help. It's just 4-5 oz. veg tanned leather that you can get at Tandy Leather Factory. You use water to wet form it and then stain it to the color you want. My gear is done in dark brown antiquing gel to give a worn look.

My friend Calvin is trying to talk me out of Afest and into Dragon can. Says everybody gets wasted and it's awesome haha. Yeah Texas has a ton of cons which I found out upon moving here. Totally unexpected.

I'm not sure myself but I'm just a little ways from Houston. Onicon is in October and that's a pretty rad convention if you were interested in visiting your bro round the same time as a con.

yeah I'll have to check out whats going on this year for me as far as cons go. I know I got Youmacon during halloween, and then a friends steampunk con here in WI so those are busy months. We'll see though.

Everyone has such great costumes! Man, that Rosa is awesome. Any chance she'll post more detailed photos of her costume? I have been screencapping like mad trying to figure out the details on Rosa's vest. I know you expressed dissatisfaction with how your hood sits, but it looks pretty accurate in this photo. I don't think people are going to scrutinize your costume nearly as much as you will.

heh, yeah that is true, I've already took the hood and collar apart and I'm going to re attach them. The hoods shape is good it just sits a little too far back. The Rosa is my girlfriend she'll probably put up some pictures eventually, we didnt get many nice photos though aside from the ones deathcom took.
