"I was off to old Dakota where a genocide sleeps,
In the black hills, the badlands, the calloused east.
I buried my ballast, I made my peace
Heard four winds leveling the pines."
New Character I dreamt up a while back in my dumb-baby brain
Her name is Euros , after Eurus/Euros - the god of the East Wind in greek mythology
& an amalgamation of East Wind dieties from various cultures.
(I especially liked this snippet about the East Wind diety in Iroquois culture,
"...the east wind is said to be brought by the Moose, whose breath blows the grey mist and sends down cold rains upon the earth." )

And yes, it's also a nod to the Sherlock series. It's just such a beautiful sounding name (and she was such an iconic character) RIP.

I may re-use this base for future adoptables, keep an eye out!
