P E R S O N A L I T Y : Dominik is what's known as an asshole. Being called a mortal-eating monster your whole life and being forced to live in secret and bring about things mortals don't like or appreciate has made him cold and distant. He'll say what he wants to say and he doesn't care what you might think or how you will react. He doesn't generally think things through, though, and he's quick to regret things. Despite this, he rarely ever says he's sorry or acknowledges his mistake. He seems to think that if you ignore something for long enough it'll go away. While he is a jerk, he is not a bully, and does not go out of his way to make you miserable. He just doesn't care if he's made you miserable. Dominik doesn't generally start a conversation and actually tries to avoid them. His face seems to be stuck in a perpetual look of annoyance and scorn. Despite this, he's surprisingly good at suppressing his temper, however he'll occasionally blow his top from time to time.

H A B I T A T : Caves. The more secluded the better.

H I S T O R Y :

It is said that a terrifying monster sleeps in a nearby cave. When he wakes, he brings with him a horrible blizzard and comes out at night to feast on any unsuspecting person or pokemon until his belly is full. He will then retreat to his cave and he and the blizzard will sleep until the terrible beast's belly trembles once more.

Dominik has always hated this story--the story that has haunted him his entire life.

"Why do we have to bring bad things? Why can't we bring good things that the mortals like?"

"Because, young one, without bad things the mortals will never learn to appreciate the good things. Everything is about balance. Where there is good there must also be bad."

From the moment he was born, Dominik was condemned to a life of loneliness. It wasn't his fault that he happened to be born a Kyurem, nor was his fault that Kyurems had a bad reputation--it just was what it was. Or at least that's what his guardians, a Reshiram and Zekrom, would continually tell him. Not that Dominik would listen to them. They told him to not listen to the rumours of the mortal world. Not that he listened to that either. No, Dominik believed he knew better than his guardians who had been entrusted with his egg from the powers above (or so they said) and had raised him and cared for his entire life. Yes, he was certain he knew better than the beings who had lived for much longer than he had an had seen much more than he had. These beings had seen the world when it had balance and peace and when the mortals were appreciative of everything the divine spirits did for them. They had watched the world corrode over time and saw the mortals become engulfed with pride and greed, no longer acknowledging the spirits as anything more than myths.

Dominik was told from the moment he hatched that it was his sacred duty to bring about the ferocious winds and powerful blizzards, just as the Kyurems before him did. He was to bring about these disasters alongside his guardians, the Zekrom who brought about thunderstorms and the Reshiram who brought about wildfires. Dominik was told that the mortals did not understand spiritual beings, and as such he must remain in hiding. And so, Dominik spent his life roaming from town to town, bringing the blizzards as needed and staying in the unoccupied caves, listening to the stories the elders told their grandchildren at night about the fearsome monster who lived in the caves and gobbled up naughty children.

It was horrible.

Time and time again Dominik would complain to his guardians about his fate and how he wished to do something the mortals liked. He was tired of hearing them complain whenever he did his job and he was tired of hearing their untrue stories about his kind. And time and time again his guardians reassured him that he was just doing his duty and there was nothing he could do about it except fulfill his duties to the best of his abilities. They would assure that when he became older he would be able to appreciate the sacred life he had been given and when the time came he would join the Ultimate Creator in perpetual happiness.

Dominik is not a patient person, though, and one day he became so fed up with the mortals' whining that he burst into a rage, bringing with him a blizzard as ferocious as the monster described in the stories that ended up killing a few mortals, before storming off to a cave in the secluded Snowpoint City in a huff. It didn't take very long for Dominik's guardians to catch wind of Dominik's outburst. They found him and approached him, telling him that there was a place that they recently learned of where he could cool off and live in peace, away from the mortals and any danger of being exposed or harming anyone else. Dominik very quickly accepted their offer and went off on his way to the place they had promised him.

H O B B I E S :

Complaining
Dominik's #1 favourite thing to do. He does this almost all of the time and can usually find something to complain about. He won't actually complain out loud unless he is confronted, though.

Sulking in a corner
Dominik is not a social person and would rather sit in a corner and whine about how he hates every one and every thing instead of actually being nice and making an effort.

Making snow sculptures
Dominik does this to help pass the time. He can mold snow and ice as if they were clay and he's fairly good at sculpting as well, due to years of practice and lots of free time.

Ice skating
Believe it or not Dominik is actually quite good at ice skating. He can do quite a few tricks and tends to skate with his bare feet. Dominik does not tell anyone that he skates, though, as he views the sport as girly.

Flying
Dominik's feelin supah fly yo

Collecting pretty rocks
Dominik's rock collection would beat yours any day of the week. He likes to hide his jar in a really great hiding spot. In fact, the spot is so good that he forgets where he put the jar and has to start all over again.

Dominik is fascinated by flowers and secretly really likes them. He's never seen one up close, though.

Because of his love for flowers, Dominik's favourite season is spring

Dominik has a teensy bit of chivalry, as he is slightly nicer to girls

Dominik is Bisexual

I pity the fool who attempts a relationship with him.

Dominik thinks very very poorly of himself and is convinced that everyone else shares these views of him

Dominik sucks at swimming and is one of those people who will think they're drowning in the shallow end

This does not mean he is scared of swimming or the water, though
