Zarumee suggested cuddling on the couch... and that's what I pictured.Because both these dorks are total saps no matter how tough they make themselves out to be, what with them jumping at every chance to hold hands in ME3.
Don't tell me they don't idly play with each other's hands in moments like this.
(Also Ash is wearing a hoodie (Shepard's, no less), it's just hard to see from here)
I kinda want to shout at them for not taking off the shoes, but hey, it's their apartment :3

That looks so awesome! So damn cute!! Ashley wearing his hoodie, the way she's resting her head on his chest, the handholding. Goddangit! I love the smiles, too, like they're just happy being alone in eachother's company, no Reapers bangin' on the door. I like the way she's almost gripping his leg with her knees, too, "You're not getting away!".
Absolutely outstanding, way better than what I had in mind!

Ashley actually took posession of his hoodie and is wearing it as her own. (I just think it looks better on her than on him
These two are just so much alike in how they maintain a super hard-ass appearance, but are in fact huge saps inside, utterly in love with each other. When it's just them, one on one, I think it's only natural they'd melt completely.
I was rather disappointed with the way their romance was handled in the Citadel DLC. They could have been given a better option to spend time together than just getting drinks at a bar and parting ways. Blech. It sure as hell can't compare to Kaidan's episode.
Got any ideas? What would they want to do on a shore leave?

Yeah, I thought the "date" in the DLC was pretty dumb. The only real opportunity to spend time alone, and it's just drinking booze and punching people, then, like you said, parting ways? Please. Give me more mushy stuff, you just know Ashley's a softie.
Maybe they'd go to a restaurant, with Ashley wearing the blue dress from the DLC? Or, taking it from Kaidan's date, Ashley and Shepard make dinner together in the apartment, trying to cook while not being able to keep their hands off eachother.

I always end my Mass Effect 2 playthrough by having Shepard cuddle with his romance. Really wish it was possible with Ashley in 3.
