Did this quick pastelation while listening to the great band Mad Season last night. Also stole one of their song names and used it as the title here, because I cannot think of one.Related content

whoa... you know, I've never heard of mad season... Layne Staley sang with them? before or after Alice? Oh, great piece, it looks like he's simultaneously holding his mouth shut and his eyes closed... awesome color.

Layne was a part of Mad Season when Alice was putting out their self-titled album. Mike McCready was also in Mad Season. And Mark Lanegan from the Screaming Trees co-wrote some stuff and sang a little. J.B. Saunders was the bassist and Barrett Martin did drums and a few other things. In the Live at the Moore concert, Nalgas Sin Carne (who does saxophone on "Long Gone Day" ....download that) goes fucking nuts on " November Hotel"...and Barrett plays his set with his hands....ahhh...what a good band...only one album...side project sort of thing. Download " November Hotel" too and "I'm Above"...and " Wake Up".
Try and download the Moore Theatre versions of "Long Gone Day" and "November Hotel" as well, they're different and in a good way.

Long Gone Day is one of the most beautiful songs ever crafted. It's one of those songs I could listen to forever and it would never get old.
