Description Heidi,
I didn't want to draw the model so my friend kindly decided to opt out of drawing (lol) and model (and talk) for a few of us. Just a quick sketch, but I am happy with the way it came out because it resembles her. I have a lot to work on but I think I am getting better at working quickly but not where I want to be.
The dots are from the paper by the way... Vine and compressed charcoal with white pastel. I need to work on these!

Ahh, this reminds me of those times Mr. Gomez used to make us draw each other and we'd bellyache the whole time about how hard it was. You make it look so easy now! I love the way she almost glows (it's something about the eyes and face). I really love the contouring of the lips too - it definitely doesn't look like something you did quickly.

Oh my! I hated drawing each other. I never got to model and sit out! : (
You always had a bellyache in high school anyway!!!
I'm glad you like it. I thought I should put some more stuff up from this year (and I am not putting up my stuff from computer imaging - it's terrible!!!) This was really hard cause she wasn't really modeling! She was talking the entire time.. Uuuugh. >_<

You should put more stuff up from this year. I never got to model either! Though I remember we did draw each other drawing once and I still have that one you did of me. It's interesting to compare that one with the one you did here. They're both good, but this one is much more detailed. You can really see the improvement.

Ay, I'm not posting my most recent (that Louise Brooks one). I've been working on one of Bette Davis since September-ish...still have a long way to go, but it's nice so far, I think.

Well, I will post more if I can ever finish anything! Thanks although I still don't like drawing people during class : P I can't believe you have that XD
Why aren't you posting it?

I love it. It's hanging on my closet door now.
I missed the mark with it and it was kind of a failed attempt. But I did finish it, anyway. You can see it. I'll upload it to photobucket and send you the link on Facebook or something.
