Description
So, I was cleaning up my file directories getting all kinds of useless files deleted, and I deleted the whole directory with my materials in it...So that set me back.
Anyway, this picture is kind of reassurance that I remade the textures and It's all okay, however I didn't get to writing the .qc as soon as I would have liked.
I'm getting back to work, but I thought I should post an update, especially since I haven't posted anything in a while. Blah.

I was wondering, does Cosmo have the bones for an IK rig in sfm? Like a working pelvis, arms, and legs? I could attempt to make an IK rig for her if she has the bones for it.

She has a kind of hybrid rig at the moment, where her legs and feet are manipulated with IK controls, but her arms are just using normal bones. I'm trying to figure out how best to rig her skirt, since at the moment each "petal" is separately manipulated. Something I imagine will be animation hell. It is a relatively early version of the model, so I'll release it as is and just wait for feedback. Or, I could open source it, and give out the blender file with the ported model. Not decided on that yet.

so i had a sudden thought you might wanna hear
if you ever noticed that you would upload 3d model cosmo in steam that it's part is rendered like blender for source filmmaker, that makes it different from other sfm models, like tf2, undertale, even fnaf, is it gonna be like the others
or will it's textures be more high pitched?

I don't know yet. SFM's way of doing textures works differently than Substance (the program I used to texture Cosmo). I'll post an update when I port her into SFM, and we'll see what it looks like.

Yerp, werking on tha bakups.
I'm thinking about posting a sort of collage featuring many of the expressions she can do. Not to mention, when the model is out of beta, there will be EVEN MOAR shape keys, and a simpler rig, and possibly more skins and outfits... Who knows. Honestly I have so many ideas...
But I went on a totally different tangent there...
With regards to the .qc, thanks! I have a sneaking suspicion I'll need all the lucks! xD

Textures were lost, but I've re-made them already.
And her skin is more of a pale white, less peachy than I originally thought. This is as close as I could get.

As I did read before you replied to someone that she features original (more circle) pupils right? I always see ellipse pupils on her eyes here so.
And can I know are you going to start making another model projects after Cosmo?

Well, the eyes are scalable, so they can be as circular, or elliptical, as you wish!
And totally! I have tons of projects in mind after this one is finished! I just don't know which one I'm going to start with.

With something like that happening, I say you should back up everything early, just in case. Put it on Dropbox and keep it private, maybe.
Still, one positive thing is that now we can see how expressive she is. Besides being super happy and philosophical, we haven't seen much.

Like I've said before, I have no animation skills. That would require a lot of time and dedication that I just can't manage right now. When the model is released, then you can expect the animation talents of the community to do amazing things!
