My entry for round 50 of IDW at ConceptArt.org, with the topic of maintenance droids.

This little guy was a quickie and very rushed in both design and presentation, but he really grew on me since then. He's most at home in the cooled confines of data server rooms, repairing routers and overseeing hard-drive partitioning. His main toolset appendage lets him open any case that he comes across and his other multiple appendages and probes permit him to manipulate electronics with high precision.

Most all of this was done purely in Illustrator (including the server room), with the exception of the droid itself which is a vexel.

Timeframe: Approximately eight hours start to finish, give or take.
Tools: Illustrator CS2 / Photoshop CS2
